Juan Andrade is a visual artist based in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts. He began his career as a photographer, working with local fashion brands in Salvador and in the city’s photography studios as a photography and studio assistant. Today, his work is focused on creating with artificial intelligence. He brings his photographic eye, with its attention to light, composition, and visual storytelling, to AI-generated imagery, motion, and 3D. His projects include AI-generated shots for a campaign launch for a major Brazilian beauty brand and a visual project exploring Black Bahian ancestry. As an AI Prompt Designer, he also designs prompts and evaluates AI outputs, identifying technical errors, recurring AI patterns to avoid, and creative strengths. His work sits at the intersection of traditional visual practice and emerging technology, with a focus on craft, cultural identity, and intentional design.
